A fun close up mentalism piece, Not A Robot uses a classic methodology to test if your audience are even real humans, or if they are, in fact, sophisticated robots. (There are more of them than you might think). The spectator concentrates on a target object, then takes the cards with the images of that object on (just like on online CAPTCHA test) then flips those cards out and reads out the scrambled mess of letters and numbers. You catch sight of a subtle clue that they are a robot and are able to easily reveal their thought of object.
Printed on 5 hard-wearing plastic poker sized cards, fun to perform and super easy to actually do, Not A Robot is a weird and funny interlude in your close up set, that ends with an inexplicable mind-read. Maybe they really are all robots?
